Aeroporti di Roma - ADR S.p.A. was founded in 1974 as exclusive concessionaire for the operation and development of Rome airport system, consisting in Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” intercontinental airport and Ciampino “Giovan Battista Pastine” airport.
ADR shareholders are: Gemina S.p.A. (95.8%), Local Entities (3%), others (1.2%).
The infrastructure development and improvement works are necessary to efficiently respond to the increase in traffic volume. In 2007 ADR
total traffic in both Rome airports hit about 38 million passengers: 210destinations worldwide may be reached from Rome, by the 140 airlines operating in the two airports.
ADR Group currently includes subsidiary companies (ADR Tel, ADR Advertising, ADR Sviluppo and ADR Engineering), which allow to enhance skills and professionalism. ADR is also a shareholder of Lametia Terme and Genoa airport operating companies.
ADR Chairman is Fabrizio Palenzona.
